ROBINSON PREBISH NAMED ASSISTANT COACH FOR MACCABI USA’S OPEN MEN’S WRESTLING TEAM

Philadelphia, PA, November 29, 2016 – Chris Feder, Head Coach for Team USA’s Open Men’s Wrestling for the 20th World Maccabiah Games USA Organizing Committee, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robinson Prebish as Assistant Coach for Team USA’s Open Men’s Wrestling at the Maccabiah Games. Prebish is currently the Assistant Wrestling Coach at St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, VA and Virginia Wrestling Association Media Director.

“I am very excited to be returning to Israel after all these years. I was extremely fortunate to compete in two Maccabiah Games as an athlete, so to go back as a coach is incredible,” Prebish said. “This is going to be an exciting opportunity for all Jewish wrestlers, so you definitely want to sign up and try out.”

Maccabi USA is seeking qualified Jewish athletes to represent Team USA in Wrestling at the 20th World Maccabiah Games in the following division: Open Men (ages 18-35).

The 20th World Maccabiah Games are the world’s third largest international sporting event and will consist of over 10,000 athletes from 80 countries participating in 42 sports.

Open Wrestling tryouts will be taking place in April 2017. Applications for the Games must be submitted prior to the tryout. Please visit maccabiusa.com to apply for the Games.
