Lawrence Norman, Entrepreneur & Former adidas Global Executive, moderated by basketball coach Brad Greenberg

Lawrence Norman spent 21 years at adidas, working throughout the world in Israel, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands, Greece and the United States. He led adidas basketball for 8 years as the Vice President of Global Basketball, in which Hoopsworld ranked him #10 on their list of top 55 global basketball influencers. He also served as the General Manager for Southeast Europe, overseeing a 400+ person team responsible for the adidas and Reebok brands in Greece, Cyprus, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In the startup world, Lawrence was Senior Vice President of Business Development with HEED, a startup that used Internet of Things analytics and Artificial Intelligence to engage with live events. He is currently an advisor to 5 other tech startups including GameOn, an app that turns stats and odds into free prediction games for fans. Lawrence was also an adjunct professor last semester at his alma mater, Clark University, where he is on the Graduate School of Management Board of Directors.

Prior to his career with adidas, Lawrence played 4 seasons of professional basketball in Israel. He is also a Board Member of PeacePlayers International, an organization which uses the game of basketball to unite, educate and develop young leaders to create a more peaceful world by changing perceptions.

Lawrence is a 6x Maccabi USA alumnus, competing in the 1989 Maccabi Australia Junior Carnival, 4 Pan American Maccabi Games (1991, 2007, 2011, 2015) and at the 18th Maccabiah in 2009.

This event will be moderated by Brad Greenberg, Maccabi USA alumni, former General Manager of the Philadelphia 76ers and basketball coach in the NBA, NCAA, Israel and Europe.
