An Afternoon with Larry Scott, Maccabiah Alum and Commissioner of the Pac-12 Conference

Larry Scott has led the Pac-12 Conference since July 1, 2009. During his tenure, the conference reached new heights for student-athlete wellbeing, athletic participation, and national exposure. The conference expanded, creating new championship opportunities for the 7,000 student-athletes across the conference. Larry also helped steer the creation of the Pac-12 Network, a landmark media rights agreement between ESPN and Fox.

After graduating from Harvard University Larry played tennis professionally, competing on the ATP circuit, winning one title. He went on to work for the ATP for over a decade, where he was credited with significantly increasing the global popularity of tennis. He would then go on to lead WTA for six years before taking on his current role.

Larry competed at the 12th Maccabiah, winning silver in both doubles and mixed doubles tennis.

This event will be moderated by Jeff Schulman, Director of Athletics at the University of Vermont, Maccabi USA Alum and Executive Committee Member.
