From “Impossible” to Olympian, the 2018 Winter Games and Road to ’22

Adam (AJ) Edelman is an American-Israeli four-time Israeli National Champion in the skeleton event and bobsledder. He competed for Israel at the 2018 Winter Olympics, becoming the first Orthodox Jew to compete in the Winter Olympics and first Orthodox Jewish male to compete in either Olympic iteration. On the road to the 2022 Olympics, Edelman currently pilots one of the most unique bobsled teams ever assembled with representation from the Israeli Arab, LGBTQ, and Jewish communities. Edelman is also the first Orthodox Jew and Israeli Winter Olympian to receive sponsorship from an official Olympic worldwide sponsor. He is a passionate advocate of mental health and anti-bullying causes.
