Board of Directors

Milt was born in Chicago in 1927. His parents moved to Dayton, OH when he was three and he spent the remainder of his life living and working in Southern Ohio. In 1949, Milt married Marlene and together they raised a family that included three children, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to being a devoted husband, father and grandfather, Milt was an accomplished businessman. He was the founder of several successful businesses as well as being the owner of the 1991 World Basketball League World Champion Dayton Wings.

Milt felt it was his personal and civic responsibility to help make the world a better place. He contributed both his time and finances to many worthy organizations. In 1994, the Dayton area National Council of Christians and Jews named him the “Humanitarian of the Year.” In 2012, the City of Dayton gave him their highest honor by inducting him into the Dayton “Walk of Fame.”

Milt actively supported the core mission of Maccabi USA. He was extremely proud that his son, son-in-law, and three of his grandchildren are Maccabi USA alumni. His family is honored to continue his involvement with Maccabi USA.
