David’s first experience at the 1993 Maccabiah Games in Israel prompted him and his family to be proud and committed supporters of Maccabi USA. They believe in the core ideal that participation in sports can help teenagers and young adults connect with their Jewish heritage.

David was born in Dayton, OH. He graduated from Washington & Lee University with a B.A. and earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. He has been the President of Victory Wholesale Group for the past 36 years.

David’s involvement with Maccabi USA has been incredibly rewarding. The trips to Israel and South America helped strengthen his religious bonds. He sincerely values the deep and lasting friendships he has made because of his participation in the Maccabiah and Pan American Maccabi Games.

In addition to Maccabi USA, David is a committed volunteer in the community. He is a past president of Congregation B’nai Israel in Boca Raton and has served on the Board of the Levis Jewish Community Center. David is currently serving his third term as a Trustee of the Pine Crest Preparatory School.

None of this would have been possible without the help of Leslie, his partner of over 40 years. Together they have four children, Nicole, Alissa, Oren (2003 Pan American Maccabi – Golf) and Gavriele; two sons-in-law, Cole and Adam; one daughter-in-law, Megan, four grandchildren – Mason, Raya, Miles and Judah, and three dogs!

Lastly, David gives much credit for his Maccabiah success to his coaches and all of his teammates. They did a terrific job of covering his flaws and maximizing his talents.
