Barry first got involved with Maccabi USA and the Maccabiah Games in the 1970’s and his experiences led him to a meeting where he met his wife Monica in Southern Florida. He has remained active in the leadership and fundraising for Maccabi USA ever since and also heads up Security for the organization.

His love for kids, sports and Israel has kept him involved for over 40 years. Barry continues to embrace leadership roles with Maccabi and regularly attends the Maccabi World Union Plenum in Israel as a member of the USA delegation.

In addition to his volunteer work with Maccabi USA, Barry is active in the community and has served in various leadership roles with many organizations. He was the first recipient of the Stanley C. Meyers Young Leadership award from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.

Barry is the founder of Madison Family Office Services and has extensive experience in tax planning for corporations, individuals, estates and trusts. He is also counsel to the Certified Public Accounting firm of Daszkal Bolton LLP where he serves in an advisory capacity.

Barry is a graduate of Villanova University where he earned his Bachelor in Science in Economics. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an Associate Member of the Israel Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Barry and his wife Monica live in North Miami Beach. They have two children Aaron (Natalie) and Elana (Shimmy) and six grandchildren – Alexa, Eva, Keren, Lucia, Minka and Ronen.
