Originally from Wilkes Barre, PA, Rose began her athletic career as a bowler and was a member of the Feirstein Olds Team in Philadelphia that won 12 city championships and finished sixth at the national championships.  She went on to win many other championships and was inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 for her achievements.

Rose traded in her bowling ball for a tennis racquet and won several singles and doubles tournaments in the Philadelphia area before moving into coaching.  She has sent three United States Tennis Association women’s teams to the national championships; and her 1993 team took third place.

Rose has brought her coaching skills to Maccabi USA and coached the Juniors and Open Tennis Teams at three international Maccabi Games in South America and Australia.  She has been the Overall Juniors and Open Tennis Co-Chair for the 18th and 19th Maccabiah Games.  She continues to coach students at Penn Charter and the JCC Maccabi Games and is an inspiration to her athletes.  Rose resides in King of Prussia, PA.
