Julian’s life has been an extraordinary journey. He was born in South Africa and it was there that he developed into an outstanding tennis player. He competed for South Africa in tennis at the 8th and 9thMaccabiah Games. Throughout the 1970s, Julian played tennis professionally for his native South Africa in tournaments that included Wimbledon and the French Open.
He immigrated to the U.S. in 1977 and once again played at the Maccabiah Games, this time in squash, representing the USA at the 11th Maccabiah, winning bronze and silver medals. With all this success behind him, including degrees in accounting and law, he decided he wanted to follow his heart and focus on teaching young students the game of tennis.
Julian and his wife Tina run the Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs. It began 35 years ago with a small group of teenagers playing tennis and has grown into an acclaimed summer program drawing over 5,000 young people each summer from over 35 states and 40 countries.
Julian and Tina reside in Radnor, PA and have two sons and two lovely daughters-in-law.
