Jan is one of the Philadelphia area’s premier amateur golf champions.  Ever since taking up golf while a student at Temple University, she has competed in numerous tournaments and played on courses all over the world.  Jan won her first tournament, the Club Championship at Radnor Valley, when she was 25 years old.  The Pinnacle of her golfing career took place in 1989 when she won the gold medal at the 13th Maccabiah Games.

Although golf is her passion, Jan believes in giving back through charity work.  In addition to her role as a member of the Board of Directors for Maccabi USA and the 16th Maccabiah USA Organizing Committee, Jan is involved with The Parkinson Council and Women Golfers Give Back.  She is an Educator with a Master’s degree in Health Education.

She and her husband Pete reside in Bryn Mawr, PA and West Palm Beach, FL.  Together they have three great children, two wonderful sons-in-law and a terrific daughter-in-law, and four spectacular grandchildren.
