Team selection will be made based on the finish times for half marathon and greater distance races run in the 12 months previous to the application date.  While no qualifying standards have been set, and selection criteria will depend on the pool of applicants, general guidelines are a sub-1:20 half marathon for Open men and a sub-1:40 half marathon time for Open women.  As additional guidelines, winning times for Open athletes at the 17^th Maccabi ah Games Half Marathon were:
